Aumkhae Sookprasert, MD
Bio: Dr. Aumkhae Sookprasert is Assistant Professor and attending head of Medical Oncology unit at Srinakarin hospital, Faculty of Medicine, Khon-Kaen University, Khon-Kaen, Thailand. She received her medical degree in 1990 and Master of Science in 1999, both from Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand. After graduation, she served as Resident in Internal Medicine at Khon-Kaen University and subsequently became Hematology Faculty Staff at the same Institute in 1994. Three years after that, she returned to Chulalongkorn University to continue her post-graduate training and completed a Fellowship in Medical Oncology in 1999.
During 2000-2001, Dr. Sookprasert was a visiting Clinical Oncology fellow at Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tennessee, USA and at University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, Denver, Colorado, USA.
Dr. Sookprasert’s areas of research interest include breast cancer, lung cancer, colorectal cancer and cholangiocarecinoma. She has published several papers such as the recent published paper named “Pattern of chemotherapy usage in hospitalized breast cancer patients” and some of which includes “Venous thrombosis”, “Cost-effectiveness in cancer treatment” and “Gene therapy in oncology”.

Thanyanan Reungwetwattana, MD
Bio: Dr. Thanyanan Reungwetwattana was graduated and received her MD degree, Thai board of Internal Medicine and Thai Subspecialty Board in Medical Oncology at Ramathibodi hospital, Mahidol University, Thailand. After that she spent 3 years during August 2009 to June 2012 as clinical research fellow in thoracic malignancies and also got the Master Degree of Biomedical Science (Clinical Research Training Program) at Mayo Clinic Cancer Center, Rochester, MN, USA. Moreover she extended her training as a Clinical Fellow in Advanced Medical Oncology Program focusing on Cancer Drug Development at Roswell Park Cancer Institute, NY, USA from July 2012 to July 2013. Currently, Dr. Thanyanan is a consultant at Medical Oncology Unit, Department of Internal Medicine, Ramathibodi Hospital, Mahidol University, Thailand. She is expertized and interested in lung cancer and drug development including cholangiocarcinoma. Currently, she is working on lung cancer, cholangiocarcinoma clinical and translational research. She recently received the Thai government grant funding for one of her interesting lung cancer research for 3 years. Furthermore, she is the editorial board member and committee of Journal of Thoracic Oncology from June 2013 to present. She is one of the communication committee and the young investigator committee of IASLC (International association for the study of lung cancer) from 2015 to present.
