David Thompson

Bio: David has strong experiences in real estate investing in both domestic and international projects covering single-family, multi-family and land development. He earned his MBA in finance from Thunderbird School of Global Management, and graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. degree from Arizona State University. David spent over 20 years in high-tech management positions at Dell, AT&T, and Lucent Technologies. At Lucent he managed a $2.5B investment portfolio and raised over $1B in funds for acquisitions. After leaving the corporate world, David started Thompson Investing and has raised several million dollars in private equity. Dennis Quinn

Bio: Dennis Quinn is the owner of Sunnyslope Estate Assisted Living in Northglenn, Colorado. Worked 25 years in the produce industry and became President of Freshpoint Orlando and Denver. Moved to Florida at 12 years old and grew up on the water in Tampa Bay area. Graduated from Florida State University. Married to Tammy Daniel Quinn. We have 5 children ages 22-34.

Doug Ruark

Bio: Douglas Ruark, Principal (303) 984-4883 Ext. 112 Mr. Ruark began his career in corporate finance in 1992 with Heritage Financial, Inc. a company he co-founded that specialized in sourcing commercial real estate and corporate debt financing for commercial borrowers. In 1994 Heritage Financial was merged with InvestCap Partners, a Washington DC based corporate investment banking firm. Mr. Ruark assumed a partnership position in InvestCap Partners and was tasked with managing several areas of corporate finance for the company including syndication, risk assessment, securities placement, Federal and State securities compliance, and investor relations. InvestCap Partners specialized in the formation of equity and debt private placements with a focus on real estate syndications and technology private placement offerings. The company was purchased by Orion Holdings Limited IV in 2000. In 1999 Mr. Ruark formed Regulation D Resources (“RDR”) for the purpose of providing Regulation D exempt offering advisory services to corporate clients. RDR engaged in principal business operations in the Wilmington, North Carolina area for 13 years. RDR specializes in the preparation of Regulation D exempt private placements and Federal and State securities compliance. The firm is credited with being the first private placement preparatory firm to incorporate the Internet in the preparation process for a securities offering. RDR is considered one of the nation's leading firms in this specialized field of corporate finance. In 2012 the Company opened a new primary retail office in Fort Collins, Colorado and in late 2014 moved into larger long term office space in Lakewood, Colorado. Mr. Ruark is Senior Principal for the Colorado office. In 2015 Mr. Ruark was instrumental in the development of RDR’s Investor Portal Promotion and Compliance web application. The web application provides for public promotion of Regulation D 506(c) exempt securities offerings and handles all compliance, subscription, and accredited investor verification processes. Mr. Ruark is currently a principal with Regulation D Resources and maintains residences in Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina and Golden, Colorado. He is a recognized expert in the Regulation D programs and is frequently asked to speak at various venture capital and corporate finance conferences. He was also solicited to provide public commentary on the impact of the JOBS Act provisions on the Regulation D exemption and provide analysis regarding their impact on Regulation D issuer's solicitation of investors. He is married and enjoys outdoor activities in both coastal North Carolina and the mountains of Colorado. Mr. Ruark holds a Bachelors Degree in Economics from Elon University.

Bio: After serving 8-years in the United States Air Force in England and Germany, it was time for me to come home and make a career change decision. I have always been good with numbers and I liked the idea of a new challenge. 29 years later, I am still in the mortgage industry and loving every moment! Calvin Newton

Bio: Calvin is certified in computer programing, systems management, and analysis from Washington University. Early in his career, he worked in the banking industry as a computer specialist, and served as a computer consultant. He designed the Dyna tax system, which was one of the first computer systems designed for processing tax returns, which was used by many CPA’s and Attorneys. These relationships led him to the securities industry where he received his Series 7 Securities License; and, began syndicating tax-sheltered investments, for high net worth clients. During this period, he met Ralph Lebkuecher and joined his firm where he was licensed with Bear Stearns. Calvin and Ralph led the syndication efforts for multi-family apartment, and ultimately, the development and renovation of mobile home parks in Southwest Florida and Colorado. Additionally, Calvin and Ralph developed 320 condominiums in Sarasota county, Florida., along with hotels in Columbus, Ohio and Birmingham, Alabama, In total, he participated in and managed the development of over $150 million in real estate projects. Calvin then entered the commercial real estate market with a real estate broker’s license; and, has sold and developed commercial real estate in Florida. Calvin’s efforts led him to the HUD financing market. He is now affiliated with Trust Mortgage Capital, where he specializes in HUD loans for apartments and Assisted Living Facilities
