Billy has been employed at Schnell Contractors, Inc. since 1997 focusing on project management/estimating of concrete and masonry restoration projects in Kentucky and Florida. Billy has managed several ICRI Award winning projects for Schnell Contractors, Inc.
Segment Manager - Façade and Restoration, BASF Corporation
Bio: Christopher Perego is the Industry Sector Manager for Buildings + Restoration at BASF Corporation. BASF is a leading innovator in the area of construction chemicals. In his role with BASF, Christopher is responsible for strategy and market development within the New Construction and Restoration industry sectors.
Christopher has worked in the construction industry for 24 years. He began his career in sales with Pratt & Lambert Paints. He later worked for ICI Paints as well as WR Grace before joining BASF in 1998. Throughout his career, he has focused on protection and repair of concrete and masonry structures.
Christopher is an active member of several industry organizations. He is a frequent speaker at various industry events and has also authored several articles. Christopher is deeply passionate about the restoration industry and the role it plays in our communities.
Christopher holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin. He resides in the Minneapolis area.

Bio: Kelly began his construction career as a waterproofing salesman in 1981, crossed over to materials rep in 1985, but realized his true calling was as a contractor, becoming a Vice President in 1992. He has done exterior façade projects on many of the world’s tallest buildings, from New York to Singapore, including the tragic John Hancock Tower in Chicago. He has owned his own company since 2004 and is known for his creative solutions to repairing buildings, along with providing safe access for his crews in difficult circumstances. He considers the work on the Christ Cathedral to be some of his best and most innovative so far.

Bio: Paul Parfitt joined the Washington, D.C. office 2008. He has a bachelors and masters degrees in architectural engineering from the Pennsylvania State University and has extensive experience working on structural evaluations, collapse investigations, and load testing of new and existing buildings and bridges. Mr. Parfitt has worked on a broad range of projects, including post-tensioned, precast, and conventionally reinforced concrete structures; wood-framed, light gauge metal structures; structural steel structures; pre-engineered buildings and building components; and concrete and brick masonry wall systems. Mr. Parfitt is also part of WJE’s Difficult Access Team.
Todd Skopic, CSI, CDT, LEED AP
Northeast Regional Building Science Specialist, Henry Building Envelope Systems Group
Bio: Todd Skopic has been involved in the design and construction industry since 1986. Todd has specialized in water, moisture and air intrusion prevention into the building envelope. Additionally, Todd is the subject matter expert for both air barriers and waterproofing for the Henry Company. Todd has become an industry expert in vegetative roofing and has personally been in involved in the design, specification, installation and maintenance of many vegetative roofs since 2006. He is active in: CSI, RCI, BEC, ASTM E06 and ABAA. With both ASTM and ABAA, he serves on technical committees.
Manager of Business Development, Restoration Services, Manganaro Midatlantic Restoration Services
Bio: Tom Ouska is currently employed with Manganaro Midatlantic, where he is the Manager of Business Development for their Concrete and Building Envelope Restoration Services product line. Starting out as a project manager for a major Washington, D.C. developer, Tom gravitated to the structural concrete repair and building envelope restoration end of the construction industry, and he has spent the past 30 plus years working in the A/E/C world. As a seasoned Business Developer, Tom has enjoyed being involved in restoring, repairing and repositioning a variety of different asset types, and the upgrading of the iconic Watergate West complex is one of his favorites.
Though having just recently joined SWR Institute, Tom has been actively involved with the International Concrete Repair Institute at both the local and national levels, where he has held Executive Committee and Director positions, and currently he Chairs the national ICRI Fellows Committee. Tom has also been a local and national member of the American Concrete Institute, where he has found it fulfilling to participate in various committee assignments, and he looks forward to many more years of active involvement in our industry associations and Institutes.
Warren E. Hennagin, C.P.A., MS-Tax, CCIFP

Bio: Warren Hennagin was recently appointed as the new Managing Partner at Gelman LLP, the largest full service business consulting and certified public accounting firms specializing in the construction industry in Southern California.
His expertise as a management and computer consultant, as well as his experience in accounting and taxation, has earned him an outstanding reputation, particularly within the construction industry. Mr. Hennagin is an accomplished speaker and writer on computer technology, accounting and tax issues. He is a contributing editor Journal of Construction Accounting & Taxation. He has been published frequently in industry materials.
Mr. Hennagin earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration with concentrations in accounting and management information systems from California State University at Fullerton in 1984. He then obtained a Masters degree in taxation from Golden Gate University in 1991. He is currently the Director for the ASA, a past committee member for the AGC. He is a member of the National Tax Committee for ABC. He is a member of the local CFMA chapter. Mr. Hennagin was one of the early recipients of the CCIFP(Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional) designation from the CFMA.

Bio: Jim Holler is restoration specialist for Tremco Commercial Sealants & Waterproofing. With more than 30 years in the industry, he has worked on some of the most prominent structures in the Washington, D.C. area and beyond addressing issues affecting this country’s aging infrastructure.
With job site experiences from below grade, plaza decks, deck coatings, and glazing restoration, Jim offers a solid background for all six sides of a building, and how to effectively tie different systems into a complete system.
Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates, Inc.
Bio: Joe Zale is a licensed architect in the State of Illinois and has worked with WJE for the past 13 years. Joe has focused on exterior wall and roofing system evaluations and the integration of the two. He has been involved in the restoration of buildings ranging from historic churches to high-rise offices. His investigations and restoration projects have involved a variety of materials including brick masonry, terra cotta, stone, roofing and waterproofing, and window and curtain wall systems.
Bio: Originally from Philadelphia, attended Penn State University and graduated in 2011 attaining a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in Construction Management. He began working at Concrete Protection & Restoration, Inc. shortly after graduation and over the past 6 years he has enjoyed working on numerous projects of varied scope and size. Kevin is currently a Senior Project Manager for CP&R overseeing assistant project managers and project engineers. Of all the projects he has worked on with CP&R, his favorite is the structural restoration of the Dolphin Tower condominium in Sarasota, FL.
Kevin is a board member and secretary of the Baltimore-Washington Chapter of the International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI).

Bio: Steve Royer has been in the Façade Restoration, Concrete Restoration, Waterproofing and Industrial Repair business for 35 years. He started in 1982 with Houck Company of Harrisburg Pennsylvania as an estimator and project manager. He developed the restoration portion of the business and worked his way up to Senior Vice President during the 25 years with Houck. Steve currently works at Concrete Protection & Restoration, Inc. where he has been involved with Operations, Estimating and Special Projects.
Steve is a Past President and Founding Member of the International Concrete Repair Institute. He was a contributing author for the ICRI “Guide for the Evaluation of Masonry Façade Structures” and the “Guideline for Repair of Masonry Façade Structures”.
