Bio: Curtis’ experiences include writing code for multimedia, web and computer applications. Recognizing Märklin’s digital advancements into the hobby, he was intrigued by the implementation of sound and multiple train operation, at different speeds no less! Curtis’ growth in the hobby has included digital upgrades to older analog locomotives, custom circuits built for first time layouts, and finding ways to repair and modify circuit boards. As a Digital Club consultant, Curtis wants to help you and your customers get the most out of their Central Station and all other Märklin Digital components.

Bio: Eric Paley is a charismatic individual representing Tamiya America, Inc.’s sales team. He has an extensive background in customer service and tech-support and a high level of attention to detail. Eric excels in creativity and producing quality work. He enthusiastically strives to provide accurate and honest support in all areas within the Tamiya brand.
Eric has interest in mechanics and esthetics, applying his creative strengths to his automotive hobby; he participates in time-trial track days and is currently restoring a classic Japanese car. Eric has built and painted box-art replicates of New RC kits to be used for Tamiya’s marketing and trade shows. His creativity extends not only into Tamiya’s displays, but also in automotive helmet design and custom RC vehicle buildouts.
Eric currently resides in Long Beach, CA. He has gained valuable experience working in retail, hobby stores and automobile dealerships. He prides himself with his skills and knowledge gained in both the automotive and hobby industries.

Bio: George Canare is a dynamic and versatile sales professional at Tamiya America, Inc. with extensive expertise and working knowledge of the hobby industry, who is recognized for strong follow-through.. George resonates with enthusiasm in providing support and service to retailers and distributors that is targeted and professional. He is an avid fan of U.S. naval and military aviation, military history, Broadway musicals, Formula 1 racing and yacht racing. George studied History at San Diego State University and earned his Bachelor of Arts and Letters. He is married to his wife Michelle, who is a transplant from Boston, MA. Bio: Being in the hobby for over 30 years, John Rosselott has been lucky to experience many aspects of the hobby. From his first train set at the age of 6, to racing RC cars for 20 years he has experienced many aspects within the hobby industry. John has always enjoyed talking to other hobby shop owners, sharing experiences and watching the industry grow. He has managed his local shop, Hobby-Sports.com for the last six years and is also a leading mortgage loan officer/originator for PNC Bank. John attended Western Michigan University and is happy to attend this year’s convention with his wife of 12 years Jamie.

She started working at the store back in 2006 and has been running the daily operations of the store ever since. She does everything from paying bills, opening new accounts, payroll, and helping in the store.
Lindsay enjoys exercising, going to the beach, snowboarding, traveling and Taekwondo in her spare time.

Bio: Theo Captanis is the President of the World Famous Pacific Coast Hobbies. He was born and raised in Torrance, CA. The got his first remote controlled car from his father for Christmas when he was 8 years old. It was an original Team Associated RC 10 and he has been in love with the hobby ever since. His Father has raced full size cars all of his life, so he was born racing in his blood.
Theo has raced r/c cars professionally for over 20 years. Over the years he has won and top qualified at many professional races and club races. He has raced almost every class of r/c racing and currently he has been racing 1/10 scale off road electric and 1/8 on road nitro. His passion for racing and the hobby drove him to open the store in 2003.
Theo enjoys racing r/c cars, snowboarding, Taekwondo and spending time with his friends and family in his spare time.
