Engaging the Community for Racial Justice and Health Equity
Friday, November 6
9:10 am - 9:50 am

Irene Caudillo has experience bringing people together to speak openly and safely about how cultural and racial inequities affect the communities around them. By focusing on people most in need, partnership and advocacy have the power to transform communities, so everyone has a fair and just opportunity for better health. Irene’s work at Health Forward Foundation and El Centro include a focus on reducing disparities in access to quality health care. Her presentation will help us all better understand the inequities in our communities and the role we can play in reducing them.

  • Strategies on how we can work together to address health inequities
  • Tools to ensure we can support patients and providers when addressing racial inequities and health disparities
