Lena Wuergler and Pauline Cancela will present a new method for identifying investigative productions, based on the systematic analysis of underlying sources. This method might help researchers to clarify the scope of investigative journalism and professionals to think about their narratives.

Julia Herrnböck will discuss how extensive cutbacks of editorial resources has created a need for investigative journalists to take on bridge roles with the specific aim to pinpoint new required skills and best practices.
