In this role-playing session, Rick VanNess and Patty Kehoe will demonstrate the Clinical Lab 2.0 business model in action, how laboratory can be compensated outside of the traditional cost/test, deflecting the financial impact of PAMA while repositioning themselves for value-based care.
In this session, we will look at the Present Payer (insurance company)’s point of view: How do they think? How do they evaluate? What do they need? And then introduce how clinical laboratories can derive new and actionable value from existing data, positively impacting clinical and financial outcomes across the care continuum.
The session will explore TriCore’s Clinical Lab 2.0 diagnostic optimization product, including results from an active Payer customer (aimed to be published in Journal of Managed Care later this year) and discuss how TriCore demonstrated a ROI and positioned this new product to the Payer.
