Description

The Washington State Jewish Historical Society like many other organizations had to find the new norm when the Covid-19 pandemic hit. This unfortunate moment in history put our organization in a position to innovate and rethink what the next steps are. We transferred onto the virtual platform quickly and effectively. Culminating into this is the Seattle Sephardic Tour. We will share aspects of this amazing and innovative form of historical celebration and discuss what we learned in regards to bringing the past into the present and using it to solve some of the issues we see today such as diversity, inclusion, and intersectionality. The word of this presentation is innovation.
