"Is it good to die healthy?" Comparatively few people do: that's what makes the last year of life so expensive. That, and the challenges that our health care system has when people have more than one illness active at once. The idea is to increase health span without disproportionately increasing life span. A lot of basic science suggests that is possible. This talk will share some examples of what "dying healthy" can look like, even in people with dementia.
