Lightning Talks: Great Projects You Haven't Heard Of
10:45 AM - 12:00 PM
Sun Oct 7, 2018
Coral (3rd Floor)

Description
In this popular session, journalists present favorite investigative projects in a short format -- just five to eight minutes per presentation. Come hear about some of the terrific work your colleagues are doing around the world. Among the topics: Waseda Chronicle's exposé on forced sterilization in Japan; Newstapa's work revealing how scientists publish in bogus journals; IndiaSpend's national database on cow-related violence; and Money Trail's grants for cross-border teams to investigate illicit financial flows, tax abuse and corruption.
