Gary holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Montana State University, as well as a Master of Engineering in Space Systems Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology. He has over 30 years of experience as an aerospace engineer with Hughes Aircraft Company, ITT, Raytheon, The Boeing Company, UTC Hamilton Sundstrand, Collins, and Wisk Aero. He holds patents in communication systems and has published in the area of gravitational waves physics for over 20 years. He maintains membership in the AIAA, the AAAS, and the SCU.
