Nicholas Dogris

Dr. Dogris is the inventor of NeuroField, a neuromodulation and neurofeedback system. He is a California licensed psychologist who has been in involved in the field of neurofeedback since 1988. He was originally trained by Margaret Ayers in the 1990’s and opened his neurofeedback practice in the Eastern Sierra Mountains of northern California. Since that time Dr. Dogris has designed neurofeedback protocols and procedures for multiple biofeedback systems. In 2008 Dr. Dogris developed NeuroField (initially a low intensity pulsed electromagnetic field (pEMF) treatment. He has expanded the company to include tACS/tDCS/tRNS/ and tAPNS forms of neuromodulation, as well as an HRV system, a differential amplifier (Q21), and an impedance meter. He is the CEO and Founder of NeuroField, Inc. and has been developing protocols and procedures for this technology over the past five years. Dr. Dogris has published two studies on low intensity pEMF in 2011 and 2012. He is an expert in QEEG analysis and interpretation and is board certified through BCIA.

The purpose of this class is to develop an understanding regarding the use of tDCS, tACS, tRNS, pEMF and synchronized Neurofeedback in clinical practice.  An overview of each neuromodulation modality along with clinical research will be presented.  An overview of the NeuroField software platform will be conducted that will demonstrate how to utilize these modalities in clinical practice.  Participants will get a “hands on” experience with tDCS, tACS, tRNS and pEMF modalities.  In this class, Drs Dogris & Thompson will conduct QEEG analysis of their case data and any cases that are brought in by the class participants.  We will utilize multiple analysis methods from WinEEG, EEGLab, Neuroguide and NeuroField in this process.  We will discuss methods for utilizing neuromodulation with a wide variety of case types.
