Paul C. Pribbenow, Ph.D., serves as President of Augsburg University (Minnesota). Since joining Augsburg in 2006, he has enhanced the University’s role as an active community partner in its urban setting. He also played key roles in Augsburg’s most successful capital campaign, which raised more than $55 million to construct the Hagfors Center for Science, Business, and Religion. Pribbenow serves on the national boards of Campus Compact, the Council of Independent Colleges, and the Coalition for Urban and Metropolitan Universities. He also is active in the Anchor Institutions Task Force. Locally, he serves on the Governor’s Workforce Development Board and the Executive Committee of the Minnesota Private College Council. Pribbenow holds a B.A. from Luther College (Iowa), and an M.A. and Ph.D. in social ethics from the University of Chicago. He was named the Outstanding Fundraising Professional by the Association of Fundraising Professionals in 2019.
