Description
Today we understand that Asynchrony occurs in up to 27% of patients in the ICU. It is associated with an increased length of stay and mortality rate. One of the tools we have as a Therapist is Waveforms. They are one way the patient is trying to communicate their needs. This course will be a live streaming simulation of several patient types and modes. The purpose is to increase the comfort of the clinician in recognizing and adjust modes to improve patient-ventilator synchrony.
