LGBT Cancer Action Council, Karmanos Cancer Institute
Megan has been a member of the LGBT HealthLink Cancer Action Council since 2018 and began serving as a research consultant for Karmanos Cancer Institute in 2020. She was part of the prevention workgroup for the Michigan Cancer Consortium's 2021-2030 Cancer Control Plan, has served as a peer reviewer for Substance Abuse, and was recognized by the Journal of Public Health Management and Practice with an honorable mention among 2019's Students Who Rocked Public Health. Her research interests include chronic disease caregiving within LGBT populations and intersections between substance use and cancer.
