Stuart J. Little, PhD is the president of Little Government Relations, which has provided personalized and specialized government relations services for businesses, organizations, and associations with public policy issues in the state of Kansas since 2001. Little Government Relations’ primary areas of practice include general legislative issues, appropriations, and specialized areas of local government, education, social services and health care, and public safety. Stuart graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1987 with a joint degree in political science and history. He received his MA from the University of Kansas in 1989 in U.S. History. In 1995, Indiana University awarded him a doctorate of history in the field of U.S. history.

Description

Public policy affects every aspect of our lives, including our health and oral health, and everyone has a role to play in improving oral health policy. For over 20 years, Dr. Stuart J. Little has worked in state government and assisted organizations such as Oral Health Kansas in advocating for sound public health policy change at the Kansas Legislature. Dr. Little will discuss policy and politics in Kansas and how oral health is a part of the conversation to ensure all Kansans are healthy. He will share insight about how everyone can have a say in oral health public policy.

  • Understand current political realities that affect our ability to make progress on dental issues such as comprehensive Medicaid
