Enrica Porcari is the UN World Food Programme’s Chief Information Officer and Director of Technology. She was also instrumental in creating WFP’s Fast IT and Telecommunications Emergency and Support Team (FITTEST) to support global humanitarian operations. Enrica is advancing WFP’s efforts to lead a digital approach for global humanitarian operations, emergency responses and development programs that improve life for millions of vulnerable people. Her team is making WFP a more efficient, data-driven organization, while working with governments, companies and other partners to help reach the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030. Enrica is on the World Economic Forum’s Council of Drones and Aerial Mobility, and the Boards of the GSMA’s Mobile for Humanitarian Program and Big Data for Social Good Accelerator. The roles that Enrica fulfils today, all benefit from her experience as the CIO and Director of Shared Services for the CGIAR Consortium, which unites international organizations around food security. She provided leadership on IT, knowledge management, procurement and support services. Enrica is an Italian national and holds a Masters in Social Sciences from University of Milan and a Masters in International Procurement Management from University of Rome Tor Vergata. She is a Fellow of the Reuters Digital Vision Fellowship Programme at Stanford University.
