Roberto Di Bernardo, electronic engineer, is Senior Researcher at Engineering Ingegneria Informatica SpA (Italy) and head of the Open Government Group, part of Open Public Service Innovation (OPSI) R&D area. In 2003, he got a Master's Degree in “Internet Software Engineering” at the University of Catania and, in 2014, a Master's Degree in “Clinical Engineering” at University of Trieste. Since 2004 he has been working in Engineering R&D Laboratory. Involved in management and technical activities in European projects, he is now working as R&D opportunity and networking developer for OPSI lab. His group leads and is involved in several European project, such as: DECIDO (DT-Governance-12), URBANAGE (DT-Transformations-02), INTERSTAT (CEF Public Open Data), TAILOR (ICT-48), ACROSS (DT-Governance-05). Currently, he is the coordinator of URBANAGE project and involved in the co-leadership of TF7.SG8 (Smart Governance and Smart Cities) within BDVA, co-leader of FIWARE Smart Cities Domain committee, leader of SWG3.5 (Public services, e-government, digital citizenship) of ECSO and co-leader of Water & ICT working group within Water Europe.
