Philippe Calvez, PhD (M) received his PhD in the field of Computer Science, delivered by PSL University of Paris. he is working at ENGIE since 2009. Prior to joining ENGIE, he worked for different international consulting companies. At ENGIE Lab CRIGEN (R&D Corporate Center of ENGIE), he leads the CSAI LAB (Computer Science & Artificial Intelligence Lab). Research activities and projects address topics such as Machine Learning (Computer Vision, NLP, ...), Digital Interoperability (Knowledge Representation and Reasoning, Semantic Technologies), AI for Distributed Autonomous ‘Energy’ System. He was responsible for the French partners of the project for the ITEA3 SEAS (Smart Energy Aware System led by ENGIE. He is the Coordinator of the H2020 Project PLATOON (Digital PLAtform and analytical TOOls for eNergy -GA 872592. He is member of Steering Committee of the ECLIPSE DLT Working Group TANGLE EE initiative.

This sponsor talk aims at presenting the EU-funded H2020 project PLATOON.
PLATOON aims to digitalise the energy sector, enabling thus higher levels of operational excellence with the adoption of disrupting technologies. PLATOON will develop a COSMAG-compliant refe-rence architecture for big data processing for the energy sector. PLATOON will develop interoperability layer and IDS IDS connectors, enabling multi-party data exchange while ensuring data governance and data sovereignty.
