Amy Baete joined Sanford Health in 2010 and currently serves as the director of children’s enrichment programming and health initiatives. She leads the team responsible for the strategy and implementation of the health care organization’s work in areas including health and wellness education, science exploration, and school programs. These educational programs aim to empower children and teens to make healthy choices and inspire the next generation of scientists and health career professionals. Throughout her career at Sanford Health, Amy has led in-depth, community-wide pediatric research studies that resulted in published prevalence rates for developmental disabilities and worked with clinic and hospital administration to deepen Sanford Health’s impact on patients and expand services in the region. Amy is a graduate of the University of Sioux Falls Health Care Administration program and studied sociology at Northern State University in Aberdeen, South Dakota.
