Adèle Humbert is an investigative journalist and podcast producer based in Paris. She is the cofounder of Insider Podcast, an investigative podcast production company. She worked as a podcast producer at the Medill Justice project in Chicago where she investigated potential wrongful convictions. Her podcast “Shaken” is an award-winning audio piece examining potential wrongful conviction in a Shaken baby case in Michigan. Shortly after the podcast was published the case was reopened. In 2017, she investigated the Paradise Papers with Radio France in Paris, France. She also coproduced a three-episode investigative podcast on children taken by their parents to Syria “The little returnees” was awarded at the 2018 German French Journalism Award ceremony (‘Best Digital Audio Production’) and nominated at the Prix Europa 2018 and Prix Longueur d’Ondes 2019.
