Description

Investigative journalists face an array of legal threats just for doing their jobs. Onerous criminal libel statutes, insult laws, dubious charges of violating privacy and national security, and secrecy laws are just a few of the ways that individuals, companies, and governments try to shut down our work.

We're pleased to present this panel of top media legal experts from the US, Colombia, Russia and the UK. They’ll offer wise advice on current trends, how to stay out of court, and what to do when you're sued.
