Based in Bolivia, I am an independent journalist and photographer who covers environment, indigenous issues, wildlife crime and exploitation, among other environmental issues in Latin America. I am the founder of www.raibolivia.org, a non-profit nature news service about conservation and natural science. I have written for National Geographic, Mongabay, Earth Journalism Network (EJN), among other media outlets. I am a member of SEJ, Investigative Reporters and Editors (IRE), and the Global Investigative Journalism Network (GIJN).
