Irving Huerta is a PhD candidate at Goldsmiths, University of London, based in the Politics and the Media, Communications and Cultural Studies departments, with the project “Counter-Investigations: towards a framework for truth production in Mexico”. With a background as an investigative reporter, his research revolves around journalism and political theory in Latin America. He has collaborated with the Turner Prize nominee Forensic Architecture, in the visual reconstruction of enforced disappearances in Mexico.
