Head of Programs, Small World Music
Mercedes Caxaj has contributed to the ongoing success of multiple arts and non-profit organizations and festivals in southern Ontario. In these various roles, she has been responsible for logistics, recruiting vendors and exhibitors, marketing and social media, as well as scouting and programming artists. For the past decade, Mercedes has been the Artistic Co-Director for Sunfest, which presents thoughtful, innovative global arts programming in London, Ontario. She is now Head of Programs for Small World Music which showcases and supports culturally diverse artists and partners in Toronto, Ontario.

BPE#10 is the first featuring all women execs, and is at 4 pm ET on April 20th, an hour of introductions and very active chats, with 30+ music community speakers who can assist and bring knowledge in many ways towards INDIE 101 delegates' goals.
From about 5 pm ET, there's an hour of breakout room networking with a contact sheet of all execs distributed for follow-up beyond the conference, which is always key to lasting business relationships and networking.
