Jude Clark

Joose Digital, Music Industry Digital Strategist

With a background in occupational psychology, elearning and entrepreneurial business; around 10 years ago I took a new turn towards impact and meaning over status and money. Consequently I've spent the last 9 years in East Africa working pro bono with emerging musicians in a mostly zero cash flow and/or broken local music industry. My aims were to understand how artists could leverage digital strategies to move towards monetisation and professionalisation, plus grow global exposure of the scene which supports them. The work, the research, led to a strategy model for emerging musicians which was launched at Acces 2018 in Nairobi, and which is currently forming the basis of webinars I'm delivering while i am back in the UK.

Description

** NOTE There will be a networking session immediately after this session

BPE#10 is the first featuring all women execs, and is at 4 pm ET on April 20th, an hour of introductions and very active chats, with 30+ music community speakers who can assist and bring knowledge in many ways towards INDIE 101 delegates' goals.

From about 5 pm ET, there's an hour of breakout room networking with a contact sheet of all execs distributed for follow-up beyond the conference, which is always key to lasting business relationships and networking.
