Director of Operations, McDonald's
Dyanna Okazaki is the Director of Operations for the Hawaii, Guam and Saipan regions. Her experience with McDonald's Corporation began in 2009 as an agency partner, working with the Hawaii public relations team. She was responsible for statewide public relations, issues management, community relations, and special events. Dyanna joined the company in 2015 as a McDonald’s Regional Communications Manager in Hawaii. She was responsible for the strategic planning and creation of corporate internal/external communications. In 2018, Dyanna transitioned to Operations, first as a Business Consultant, then a Franchise Business Partner. She played an instrumental role in supporting Hawaii Owner/Operators and their organizations maximize business results and profitability. She currently serves as the McDonald’s APMEN (Asia Pacific and Middle Eastern Network) National Council Communications Lead, Global Women’s Leadership Network member and Ronald McDonald House Charities of Hawaii Board Member. Prior to McDonald’s, Dyanna served as Executive Director of the Hawaii Nature Center for four years and Development Director for the Honolulu Zoological Society. Dyanna believes in giving back to her community and participates as a board member of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Hawaii. She has also served as a volunteer for the Kaho’olawe Island Reserve Commission, Sierra Club, Kaiser High School, Hawaii Children’s First, Hahaione School PTSA Board, and American Heart Association. Dyanna is a graduate of the University of Washington in Seattle, where she double majored in Communications and Romance Language & Literature. She also attended the University of Granada and Colegio de San Martin in Spain. Born and raised on Oahu, Hawaii, she currently resides in East Oahu with her three children.
