Associate Director of Annual Giving and Alumni Relations, De La Salle Academy
Saki Mori has 15 years of experience in the New York City nonprofit sector. Specifically, her career has developed within New York City's youth development and workforce development programs, and her work includes direct service, program management, fundraising, organizational operations, and executive management. Saki currently serves as the Associate Director of Annual Giving and Alumni Relations of De La Salle Academy, an independent middle school in New York City. Previously, she served as the Director of Operations an intermediary training and consulting organization for the workforce development field in New York City. In the past several years, she has returned to contribute to the Asian American community by serving as the Vice President of 1000 Club, Membership and Services for the National Board of the Japanese American Citizens League (JACL) and the Vice President of the JACL-New York Chapter. She also serves on the Alumnae Board and Alumnae Council on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion of Convent of Sacred Heart in New York City. Saki is a born-and-raised New Yorker who currently resides in Queens, NY. Saki graduated from Trinity College (Hartford, CT) with a dual degree in Political Science (International Relations) and French Language & Literature. She is also an alumna of Columbia Business School's Executive Education - Developing Leaders Program for nonprofit professionals.

This Situational Awareness Workshop (SAW) is an interactive training to teach people on how to be a confident and effective bystander against racism and discrimination. At the end of the training, each participant will have the tools to be able to intervene as a bystander whenever they see or experience harassment.
This event is presented in collaboration with the Japanese American Citizens League (JACL).
