Data Engineering Practice Lead, 1904labs

Kit leads the Data Engineering practice at 1904labs. His team focuses on building data pipelines and platforms, ensuring data governance, and helping clients develop a data strategy. Kit has been primarily focused on the Hadoop stack including Scala, Spark, Hbase, and Solr and has been a frequent speaker at conferences and events including DataWorks Summit and StampedeCon. Kit is also the co-founder of local St. Louis startup, PETSHACK, that is developing Paw City - a mobile app that helps pet owners find pet-related interests and events near them.
