Entrepreneur, No Job Too Small
Ray Savage is the proprietor of No Job Too Small Handyman Services, a social enterprise dedicated to helping seniors & others remain in their homes as long as possible. Prior to establishing No Job Too Small Ray was a Sales trainer for a large Canadian multi-media corporation traveling ‘English’ Canada working to help improve sales teams. This was a steppingstone from a position of regional sales manager and business development for a group of weekly newspapers and specialty publications in western Nova Scotia. He previously operated a business coaching and training enterprise for several years in the Annapolis Valley area, being among the first to practice business coaching in the province. Ray’s background also includes a history of financial services, sales & marketing, customer service, human resources, and residential development. In the community Ray has also championed some of the most visible community organizations in the Annapolis Valley including the Annapolis Valley Apple Blossom Festival and the Annapolis Valley Chamber of Commerce, being a past president with both. He also was a director with the VON Annapolis Valley, leadership chair with Relay for Life and an active member of Relay for several years. He has also been active in Rotary, Kinsmen and several other community organizations. Being a Cancer survivor with a not so favourable prognosis has given Ray a unique perspective and empathy for others. Ray looks for opportunities to make a difference in people’s lives where he can. He takes huge satisfaction in watching people get happier and the huge ripple effect it can help create.
