Communications and Project Specialist, Engage Nova Scotia
Catherine is the Communications and Project Specialist at Engage Nova Scotia. Prior to her role with Engage, she served as the Health Policy Analyst with the Atlantic Policy Congress of First Nations Chiefs. She also brings her past experiences in academia with her, including: Regional Coordinator for the Atlantic Indigenous Mentorship Network, Research Associate with the Food Action Research Centre (FoodARC) housed at Mount Saint Vincent University, and Program Manager for the Health, Environment, and Communities (HEC) Research Lab, housed at Queen’s University. After growing up in Ontario and spending several years living in the Margaree Valley in Unama’ki/Cape Breton, she now spends most of her time in Dartmouth where you can find her weightlifting, hiking, reading, and preserving food.
