Stuart is currently is chair of the IWA water Loss Specialist Group and has been in position since 2018 with at least another 2 years to go to 2022. Stuart has written many papers and has also authored 4 books for the IWA all on NRW with his last one released earlier this year as the updated version of the book ‘Leakage Detection’. Stuart is in the process of writing another book and this will be released in the first quarter of 2021 Stuart is a qualified civil engineer, environmental engineer and chartered manager having studied at Northampton and Huntingdon university in the UK Stuart started working in the water industry in 1980 where he spent14 years with Anglian water prior to leaving to set his own company up working in NRW. The company employed over 200 leakage engineers working mainly in the UK. This company was acquired in 2007 by a UK water company and Stuart then went on to own a technology company before joining Miya Water as the director of international business development where he has worked in over 30 countries
