Mr Donald Baldeosingh is an energy specialist and social entrepreneur. He serves as President of the ENMAN group based in the Point Lisas Industrial Estate, Trinidad’s petrochemical sector hub. He has led many key projects in energy, control systems and power including installation of SCADA/DCS/PLC systems, optimisation of system voltages, upgrade of 200,000 power meters to automatic meter reading as well as innovative environmental projects. Mr Baldeosingh served as Chairman of the Board of the Petroleum Company of Trinidad and Tobago Ltd (Petrotrin). He led the Transformation of Petrotrin, involving completion of a US$300M refinery upgrade, expansion into new ventures and gas business, and commercial resilience. He has served on the prestigious Industry Advisory Board to the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. Mr Baldeosingh served on the Organising Committee for two world upstream Health & Safety conferences and chaired conferences on such topics as Engineering, Procurement and Construction contracts, Carbon Trading and Infrastructure Financing. Mr Baldeosingh is the Founder of the Carbon Zero Initiative of Trinidad and Tobago, CZITT, a non profit leading the way in reducing the country’s carbon emissions. He is project leader for the Guyana Turtruba Hydropower and Southern Caribbean Cable projects. He holds BSc and MSc degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of the West Indies.
