Rick Hines currently serves as the Fire Chief of the Ketchikan Fire Department, where he is dedicated to building sustainable programs that benefit both his department and the community. With extensive experience in firefighting and emergency services, Rick has lectured and instructed both internationally and locally, sharing his knowledge and expertise. Beyond his role as chief, he actively volunteers across the state, contributing to education and community initiatives. When he's not serving the community, Rick enjoys the beauty of Alaska's outdoors and spends his free time exploring the state's natural wonders.
