Description

Jennifer was raised in Alaska, where her deep connection to the community shaped her career path. She served as a police officer with the Anchorage Police Department for over eight years before transitioning into the field of mental health. Now a licensed mental health therapist, Jennifer has gained experience working in inpatient units and emergency department settings. Currently completing her PhD in Clinical-Community Psychology, Jennifer’s research focuses on the mental health of first responders. For the past four years, she has been the lead mental health clinician for the Anchorage Fire Department. In this role, she has been a vital member of both a High Utilizer Team and then the Mobile Crisis Team, bringing her unique blend of law enforcement and mental health expertise to support first responders and the broader community.
