Susan N Romero, MSN, APRN, CPNP AC/PC Bio Sketch Susan Romero is a Pediatric Critical Care Nurse Practitioner and founder of Crita Sim LLC, a simulation-based training company. Her 30-year nursing career is dedicated to pediatric care and education. Susan has worked at the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium for over 11 years as a Pediatric Critical Care Nurse Practitioner and Director of Pediatric Simulation. She also contracts with the South Central Foundation Dental Program as their director and facilitator for their simulation program. Susan developed and operates Crita Sim LLC, a simulated emergency action training company. She contracts simulation courses with numerous dental clinics, emergency departments, private medical offices, and schools throughout Alaska and Idaho. Through Crita Sim, Susan is also the national trainer for the Sim Box education program in conjunction with grant funding from Indian Health Services and Health Resources and Service Administration. Susan lives in Emmet, Idaho, and works full-time at Boise St. Lukes's Medical Center Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. When not at work, Susan lives on a working ranch in Emmett, Idaho, with her husband and two sons. She enjoys spending time with her family, working with their livestock, land, and orchard. In her spare time, she rides her horses as much as possible, enjoying Idaho.
