Dr. Joe Scott is Sr. Director of Fleet Medical Operations for Carnival Corporation. He provides leadership, management, clinical and operational support to more than 60 shipboard medical centers and supervises global recruitment, credentialing, and staffing of physicians, nurses, and paramedics. A Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians and the American Academy of Emergency Medicine, Dr. Scott has practiced clinical Emergency Medicine in South Florida for 25 years, the last 10 in leadership positions including department chairman. He is experienced in disaster response as a former medical director for both local and federal disaster response teams, including those that responded to Hurricane Katrina and the Haiti earthquake.
