
Dr. Tim Quigley Peterson

Dr.Peterson has been actively engaged in rural and urban EMS since 1983. He is motivated by the passions of volunteers across Alaska. As a board certified Emergency Medicine practitioner, he has long advocated for expanding scope for Basic EMT's, including recent State Scope of Practice revision. He was instrumental in having Epinephrine Without Auto-injector added to the regular curriculum for Basics in New Mexico in 2010. He serves as Medical Director for SEREMS and is a member of the Alaska State Medical Director Committee. In 2005 he was recipient of the 2005 Timothy Fleming New Mexico Medical Director of the Year award. In 2006, he was awarded the Richard Fernau EMS Medical Director of the Year Award, by the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians.
