Description

John Pantzer is the CEO and founder of CCA Sports in Indianapolis. He attended college at Indiana University and owned a bar near campus. John started his career out of college in sales before going to work for a major pharmaceutical company. In 1992 John went on to start the Indianapolis Sport and Social club (an offshoot of Chicago Sport and Social) with a friend from college. John went on to start Circle City Athletics (CCA Sports) in 1994 after Chicago Sport and Social shut down the Indianapolis Sport and Social club. In 2008, after 19 years, John was ready to take a buy out from the company he was working for and pursue CCA Sports full-time. CCA Sports has grown to now encompass the Greater Indianapolis area and surrounding counties. John acquired Chattanooga Sports leagues in 2022 and continues to explore other markets for expansion or acquisition. The entrepreneurial skills John has learned over the last 30 years have allowed him to expand from running sport and social clubs to developing real estate and opening a New Orlean’s style restaurant & bar, The Quarter. John enjoys sharing lessons learned from such a varied career, especially with a focus on the sport and social industry. John has unique insights to the importance of networking, understanding customer needs, and adapting to changes in the market.
