Sarah Webb is Associate Science Media Editor at the Krell Institute. There she launched the computational science podcast, Science in Parallel, in 2021, which she hosts and produces. That podcast was shortlisted for 2022 Best Technology Podcast and 2023 Best Science and Medical Podcast from the Publisher Podcast Awards. She also has served as a contributing editor for American Scientist magazine. Her freelance work has appeared in Discover, Science News, Nature, Chemical & Engineering News and many other publications. She contributed a chapter to The Science Writers' Handbook and served as editor-in-chief of that book's website: pitchpublishprosper.com. Prior to her science writing career, she studied organic chemistry in Germany on a Fulbright Fellowship and completed a PhD in chemistry at Indiana University in Bloomington.
