Vincent Colburn

Description

Vincent Colburn is a dedicated twelve-year-old actor with a growing love for the stage. Raised in a small, rural town, he was introduced to theater and music in kindergarten through programs made possible by grants and strong community support. Those early experiences helped spark an interest that continues to grow. In second grade, he had the chance to audition for his first speaking role in a school production and was cast as the Caterpillar in Alice in Wonderland Kids. Since then, he has gone on to perform with respected companies across Central and Northwest Alabama, including Virginia Samford Theatre, Self Express Productions, and Red Mountain Theatre. Though his family did not come from an arts background, his school and hometown made space for students to explore creative paths. With the help of dedicated teachers and supportive programs, Vincent found a place to develop both skills and confidence. Some of his favorite roles include Aladdin (Aladdin Junior), Pugsley (The Addams Family Young@Part), James (James and the Giant Peach Junior), JoJo (Seussical Junior), Twin (Peter Pan), Charlie (The Best Christmas Pageant Ever), and Lumiere (Beauty and the Beast Junior). He is grateful to his parents for their support, his brother for always cheering him on, and Judy Miller, Jennifer Zetrouer, and Amy Murphy for their musical guidance. “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.” – Colossians 3:23 All glory to God!
