Kyla Gabriel is the Director of Learning and Impact at Knight Foundation, where she leverages her extensive experience turning data and insights into action. Kyla leads the foundation’s free expression research franchise, with the goal to contribute to the broader understanding of informed and engaged communities, both now and in the future. Previously, Kyla led executive-level strategic initiatives at leading public and non-profit organizations. As a consultant at Bain & Company, where she developed enterprise strategies and business plans for Fortune 500 companies. Kyla also worked on Boston Children’s Hospital’s digital health team, where she supported the organization’s digital strategy to increase access to the hospital’s world-class expertise. Originally from New York, Kyla holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Public Health from Brandeis University.
