Originating from New Zealand Nichola Weir is a licensed esthetician and one of the leading integrative acne specialists in New York City. Opening Pacific Touch NYC in 2009 Nichola has been on The Rachael Ray Show and featured in XO Jane, Huffington Post, SHK Magazine, Refinery29 and Byrdie, Gotham Magazine and Coconet TV. Nichola has also written skincare articles for the Elephant Journal and regularly gives expert skincare advice to online wellness writers. Covid lockdown in 2020 left Nichola out of business for months and during this time she faced the real possibility of having to close her doors permanently. Pivoting instead and harnessing the power of social media Nichola found a way to connect with her clients on an even deeper level and the Pacific Touch community began to grow. Reopening in 2021 Pacific Touch NYC’s growth was so explosive that Nichola now has a team of six, plans for a skincare line and wants to do pop up’s in New Zealand and her grandparents homeland of Samoa in the near future. Always staying true to her roots Nichola started Pacific Touch NYC to bring the “Island” back to Manhattan and Pacific values like the importance of community, connection and a strong sense of family have been an integral part of her success.
