Jerald Gatlin is currently the Community Outreach Coordinator for the Colorado Building & Construction Trades Council for the State of Colorado. This program promotes and educate the public regarding opportunities available to communities of interest in joint labor/management apprenticeship programs. He is charged with performing direct outreach to individuals, organizations, public schools and targeted communities of interest to conduct presentations and build a coalition of broad community interest and support for the registered apprenticeship programs. Major Gatlin is a retired Army Officer, a graduate of the Command & General Staff College and has a B.S. degree in Psychology and Business Management. He has completed Board Governance and Leadership Development Training and Certifications from the El Palmar Foundation. He is a Life Member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. He volunteers and conducts classes for Teen Court of the El Paso County 4th Judicial system; and an Ambassador for the Fountain Valley “Communities That Cares” Youth Involvement Group.
