Dennis has been in the classroom as a trainer for the USAF since 1980 and is now a full Professor and Chair of the Business Studies Department at Pikes Peak Community College (PPCC). Prior to his success at PPCC, Dennis was a business and technology instructor for the University of Maryland, University of Southern Colorado, and Colorado Technical University. He is a trained researcher from Colorado State University with a PhD in Adult Education as well as a Certified Manager via James Madison University. Adding to his other five college degrees, Dennis brings a wealth of education, experience, and passion for success in business and life as well. As a life-long servant-leader for his community, he has served on various committees and Boards of Directors ranging from Boy and Girl Scouts, Vukoo.com, a Trustee with the Western Museum of Mining and Industry, numerous youth sports teams, a “Dance Dad, Swim Dad, and Gym Dad,” and served as President of a local Rotary International Club. This retired USAF Master Sergeant has also served 20+ years as a Jet Aircraft Mechanic and then Weather Forecaster. Dennis is serving his third year as a presenter with the wonderful professionals of your African American Youth Leadership Conference.
