Melissa Goldberg is committed to creating pathways for low-income, and all people to attain the skills and credentials they need to find fulfilling work, support their families, and meet their goals. To do so she’s spent over 20 years researching, writing about, disseminating and advising on promising practices in the field of workforce development. She is currently focused on ensuring that SNHU’s competency-based educational offerings have relevance in the labor market so that the working learners who earn their degrees possess the very skills and competencies that will make them valuable in the workplace. Before joining SNHU she served as Senior Associate at Workforce Strategy Center providing technical assistance to foundations, federal agencies, businesses, workforce boards, and community colleges. She has also led community college business outreach and continuing education programs focused on establishing educational solutions to advance career prospects for unemployed and underemployed individuals. She holds a BA in International Affairs and Spanish from the University of Maine at Orono and an MPA from NYU’s Wagner School for Public Service.
