Bruce Bergwall is Senior Vice President of Employee Success at Woz U, a technology-based education start-up that is enhancing the Education as a Service model, empowering employees and students with effective and affordable career paths in technology. He guides Woz U’s partnerships with employers, colleges and universities, to improve their recruitment & retention strategy and the upskilling of new and incumbent employees. Bruce is also the Senior Vice President, Employee Success & Business Development at Dream Center Education Holdings, a network of more than 50 regionally accredited, non-profit colleges and universities. Before Woz U, he served as the Director of Business Development at Pearson, where he helped employer's recruit and retain employees. He was integral in enhancing the workforce planning efforts and elevating the performance of employees via new educational benefit strategies. Bruce was responsible for bringing to bear all the resources and assets of Pearson to improve the learning and operational outcomes at the nation's largest higher education institutions in the private sector. Prior, he was Managing Director at Atwood Capital Partners, an independent middle market investment bank and a Strategy Consultant at Google, where he collaborated on the development of new business-to-business lead-gen programs. Previously, Bruce was Senior Vice President of Education, Enterprise and Government at Panopto, overseeing all customer engagement and sales activity, while also managing direct sales, channel partnerships and web-based marketing programs in those sectors. He also led strategic planning and partnerships, as the Vice President of Business Development at CompareNetwork and GlobalSpec. Earlier in his career, Bruce developed initiatives to increase revenue opportunities as Director of Business Development at Thompson Learning. Also, for more than a decade, Bruce was President of Bergwall Productions, as a pioneer in digital video education and training programs. Bruce graduated with a B.A. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
