Josh Farris is a 4th year student at the University of Virginia. He studies Youth & Social Innovation at the Curry School of Education. Outside of class, Josh serves as the Co-Director for the 2019 AL1GN Conference. He also assists a professor in designing a course for First Generation & Low Income (FGLI) students through the Batten School for Public Policy & Leadership. Additionally, Josh works as a tutor at UVA's Writing Center. Upon graduation this upcoming May, Josh hopes to secure employment that creates or allocates resources for disadvantaged populations, especially youth. Beyond work, Josh loves frequenting bookstores, attending music oriented events, and exploring new coffee shops.
