Miroljub Stanković was born in 1975 in Niš, Serbia. He graduated from the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture of the University of Niš in 2005. With a fellow architect and friend, Zoran Nikolić, he founded KontraStudio, an office for architectural, interior, and graphic design in 2006. He is one of two principals in the office. KontraStudio is active in Niš and the pertaining region. With its projects, the office strives to enhance the contemporary architectural expression, bringing the form and design beyond the usual local practices. KontraStudio is the co-founder of DELI, a shared co-working space for creative action, which was established in Niš in 2015.
