Ali Alderete moved to England from Mexico. He studied a master’s in Economics for Natural Resources and Environmental Management at Cranfield University, where he applied his analytical skills to the study of renewable energy. His passion for the computational models and sustainability led him into the Environmental technology doctorate program. The knowledge acquired during his BSc in Applied Mathematics and Computational Science, and other diplomas in Data Mining and Statistical Techniques, drive this interest to find novel solutions to sustainability matters. Specifically, he is interested in the artificial neural networks capabilities to improve the decision-making process of the agent-based model. In his free time Ali enjoys getting involved with the research students’ community and playing rugby. He is as well President of his university's Student Union, representing, supporting, and engaging his peers.
